CASE the Catalogue!
February 02, 2018
To CASE is to "copy and share everything" It's a favourite thing of mine, to do, whenever there is a new release of a catalogue. There are always brilliant examples of cards made, using the new ( & sometimes carryover ) stamps in the three catalogues, in the Stampin' Up! year.
Today I am sharing a card I CASE'd from the quite new Occasions catalogue. It is showcasing the fabulous Petal Palette stamp set which available on its own, or as a bundle with the coordinating Petals and More Thinlit dies.
I used the Stampin' Blends to colour the main image, & there is a very, very faint watercolour wash behind the flowers which I achieved with an Aqua Painter & the tiniest amount of ink from the lid of the Pool Party ink pad. You will notice the image I have here for you from the catalogue (the second image), has a much darker watercolour wash....either is totally acceptable.
The black spotty background is a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Petal Passion 12x12 DSP that is just another part of this amazing Petal Passion Suite.
I'm sure you will fall in love with this suite, just as I did, the very first time I saw it.
If YOU would like to be among the very first to see new products, the way to do that is to become a demonstrator....no don't run away!
Becoming a demonstrator is one of the better things I have done for myself in the last, almost five years. I wanted one of everything and the discount. Along the way I have met the most amazing people I can call friends, from various places around the globe & mostly here in almost my own back yard.
Ask me any questions regarding joining the wonderful Stampin' Up! family, I'd be so happy to help you in making your mind up. One last thing....now is the VERY best time to do it. Free gifts, (stamp sets) & no shipping costs
